DAILY TOURS:
Expect to spend 2-1/2 hours to experience the Old West. Daily tours include the Pistol Packin' Paula Show, Woodrow the Longhorn, the Tractor Wagon Ride through our Exotic Animal Park, and Paula and the Cimarron Cowboys Stunt Show. You are welcome to walk around the town and take pictures if you'd like or just sit and relax. Enchanted Springs Ranch is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm during the Summer (June-August).
No reservations are required for our daily tours and cost is $12 for adults; $6 for children (12 & under). Come see us soon!
FIELD TRIPS:
Your students will not only learn about Old West and Texas History, they’ll see it and touch it. This is truly a unique experience that emphasizes the thrills and hardship of early Texas life. It’s one thing to sing home on the range, it’s another to see buffalo roam and deer and antelope play. Add cowboys in the street, a photo opportunity on the back of a longhorn, taste biscuits made in our dutch ovens like the chuck wagons used to cook, and a ride through a Wild Animal Park and you’ll see why most schools come back year after year.
Your field trip will include:
- Greeting by townspeople dressed in 1800's clothing.
- Meeting a real Texas longhorn and learning about the history of the longhorns, the cowboys, and cowgirls.
- Visiting our Texas Heritage Exhibit and hearing stories of the old west.
- Admiring some real American Buffalo and Indian tee pees.
- Enjoying a tractor wagon ride through our 86 acres of lush pastures and wooded hills.
- Learning about the chuck wagon and how they cooked and then taste our delicious biscuits
- Listening to Dave and his different bird and animal sounds
- Viewing numerous longhorns, zebras, emus, llamas, exotic deer, antelope, plus reindeer.
- Eating your lunch in our covered picnic area inside our old west town.
- Visiting our trading post, hardward store, church and much more.
- Enjoying a stroll through an authentic old west town.
- Seeing and touching an exciting piece of the Old West.
