Enchanted Springs Ranch is an 86-acre private event venue in the Texas Hill Country. The event spaces are located in an Old West town that transports guests back into the 1800s. There are a number of ranch activities, team building opportunities and various entertainment that guarantees a night to remember. Whether it’s a corporate event, private event, team building or a wedding, Enchanted Springs will help develop an event timeline that you’re excited about!
The tractor wagon ride is a favorite for every guest. Make sure to read the previous blog, Animals of Enchanted Springs Ranch, to learn about the wagon ride and animals in detail. The wagon transports you and your guests to the back of the property to view over 70 types of animals grazing in the scenic acreage. It is a great opportunity for everyone to get up close and personal with some of our exotic animals while enjoying an old time ride!
Speaking of animals on the ranch, guests love to spend time with Woodrow the Texas longhorn. Woodrow has such a calm demeanor. He loves meeting all of the guests that visit Enchanted Springs Ranch. Spend time petting and snapping photos with Woodrow. Take a picture on your phone or camera and keep this memory forever. Woodrow’s handler will also share some interesting facts about the steer.
As far as entertainment goes, Enchanted Springs Ranch offers a variety of Texas country bands and professional DJ's. Line dancing is always a fun way for people to get up and moving while learning a few classic Texas line dancing steps. The options are endless when it comes to live entertainment for your guests the Texas way!
The trick ropers, gun twirlers and bullwhip experts have a great show! Prepare to be amazed. The shows are sure to get the audience involved. These experts make it look so easy, but they have perfected their talent with years of experience. Make sure to bring your camera; you’re going to want to record this!
The western photo booth is a great way to capture memories from the event. Choose from a variety of western apparel and props. Photo booths can be set up in the Old West jail to add to the western feel or wherever you prefer.
If you’re looking for an interactive, fun competition, plan some time for 6 Gun Fast Draw or archery! These activities are good for a little friendly competition or to better your shot. For archery, watch as an instructor demonstrates the proper technique and then each participant gets to shoot three arrows. The 6 Gun Fast draw is another crowd pleaser. Each person gets the opportunity to draw and shoot a real .45 pistol which will shoot using balloon popping blanks. Attendants will record the time it takes for the participants to shoot two balloons. Learn to relax under pressure, steady your aim and share intellectual capital.
There are two types of relays on the ranch. The cow patty relay and the pony express relay are relay races with a western twist. Participants race through obstacle courses on a stick horse to a wheel barrel where they pick up cow patties or deliver mail. The group works together until a final runner comes in! This interactive activity is great for photos and team building.
While your guests enjoy exploring the Old West town, they can play a game of horseshoes, washers or corn hole. These timeless activities are great while enjoying a cold beverage and listening to some western jams.
Maybe history is more your style. Explore the Old West and take a history walk about through the town. Hear the stories of Indians, Spaniards, Settlers, Texas Rangers and Cowboys who formed world-class teams in early Texas. Learn business lessons from early Texas history.
Watch a professional roper work his magic! The Rope-a-Dope with a professional roper is an opportunity for guests to test their skills. Each person is scored on three attempts to rope a plastic calf head. It might look easy, but it’s harder than you think!
